The deadline for applying for National Orchestra auditions has been extended until February 23

Abu Dhabi, January 20 / WAM / The National Orchestra of the United Arab Emirates announced the extension of the deadline for submitting auditions until next February 23, in light of the great demand from those interested in participating.

The UAE National Orchestra will recruit distinguished talents of musicians through auditions for those aged 18 years and above, to work full-time in the Eastern and Western musical instrument departments. In addition, the orchestra will appoint Arabic-speaking singers to work part-time.

Extending the deadline gives talented individuals who wish to audition additional time to take advantage of this special opportunity.

This exceptional opportunity provides competitive salaries and incentives, in addition to the possibility of contributing to enriching the musical repertoire in an innovative style inspired by the Emirati heritage. It also provides an opportunity to communicate within the diverse community in the country and explore links with various international musical traditions.

Instrumentalists and singers must submit a high-quality video recording demonstrating their musical skills no later than February 23, 2025, via the orchestra’s website www.UAENationalOrchestra.ae.

The inclusion of musical accompaniment is encouraged wherever possible, and these videos will be reviewed by the selection committee to evaluate the artistic abilities and artistic expression of applicants.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a second round, including an in-person audition, held in the capital, Abu Dhabi, where they will perform live in front of a panel of highly qualified technical experts.
