The UAE showcases its creativity at the “Maison et Objet” international exhibition in Paris

Paris, January 20 / WAM / The Dubai Culture and Arts Authority concluded its participation today in the “Maison et Objet” exhibition, the largest international exhibition specializing in design, decoration, furniture, table arts and lifestyle, which was held in the French capital, Paris, for an entire week.
Participation comes within the “Emirates Design Oasis” initiative, where the Emirati Pavilion provided a unique platform to display the creativity of fifteen young Emirati designers, during which the participating designers showcased their creative works that combined the authentic Emirati heritage with a modern, modern character, which reflects the Emirates’ vision of highlighting its cultural identity in ways Innovative.
The Emirati exhibits at the exhibition varied between unique furniture designs, artworks inspired by local nature, and household items bearing touches of Emirati heritage. For his part, designer Hashem Al-Hashem stressed that participation in this global exhibition represents a great opportunity to introduce Emirati creativity on a broader scale. Designer Majid Abdullah Al Bastaki explained that his participation in the “Emirates Design Oasis” pavilion is a reflection of the UAE’s vision of supporting creativity and innovation.
