Dubai, January 20 / WAM / Today, Dubai hosted a closed meeting of the World Bank Group on Cloud Computing, in preparation for the launch of the work of the “Global Government Cloud Computing Forum 2025”, which is organized by the Dubai Cyber ​​Security Center in cooperation with the World Bank Group, and is considered the first of its kind in the world. .

The meeting was attended by an elite group of members of the World Bank for Cloud Computing, which included representatives of digital governments and cloud computing solution providers, along with senior representatives of participating countries and prominent experts from the government and private sectors.

The discussions varied around four main themes: artificial intelligence, green computing, quantum computing, and information security, which reflects the trend towards a smart and sustainable future.

Tomorrow, the world’s eyes will turn to Dubai, where the forum will be held under the slogan “The Future of Cloud Computing for Governments”, with the participation of an elite group of decision-makers and global experts in the field of cloud computing.

The event brings together more than 500 experts and more than 200 government officials, with more than 50 international speakers and 30 leading innovators in cloud computing technologies in attendance.

The forum represents a strategic platform for exchanging ideas and visions, and embodies Dubai’s constant commitment to promoting innovation and advancing technological development globally.

Yousef Hamad Al Shaibani, CEO of the Dubai Cyber ​​Security Centre, stressed that this event reflects Dubai’s commitment to innovation and advanced infrastructure in accordance with the vision of the wise leadership.

The closed meeting focused on the strategy for activating cloud computing applications for the next five years and enhancing cooperation among members.

The meeting included interactive workshops to develop innovative solutions, and concluded with participants visiting the solar energy park in Dubai to learn about green cloud computing and sustainable technologies.
