"Trends" Participates in the Davos Global Forum in Switzerland

Davos, 21 January / WAM / The Trends Research and Consulting Center participated in the activities of the World Economic Forum, which is being held this year under the slogan “Cooperation in the Smart Age”, with the participation of more than 3,000 prominent figures from 130 countries, and continues for five days of discussions and partnerships. Trends’ participation in the forum is represented by panel discussions, research partnerships, and the launch of new publications, for the second time.

Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of the Centre, stressed that Trends’ participation in the World Economic Forum reflects its position as one of the most prominent intellectual institutions that contribute to anticipating the future and providing innovative solutions to global challenges.

He pointed out that “Trends” continues to achieve its goals of disseminating knowledge and consolidating the values ​​of dialogue, tolerance and coexistence, considering that the academic research and effective partnerships adopted by the center represent an essential foundation for enhancing its role in formulating strategic visions that support decision-making at the global level.

He said that Trends will reveal its study entitled “The Future of Renewable Energy: Financing Challenges and Opportunities for Prosperity” at the forum, and will organize a dialogue session about it, highlighting the financial challenges and promising opportunities opened by this vital industry.

He added that in a strategic step to enhance Trends’ presence in Europe, it will launch its office in Switzerland, which is the eighteenth in the world, with the aim of expanding its research network and developing knowledge partnerships on the continent level.

Al-Ali pointed out that Trends will also launch a series entitled “Artificial Intelligence Trends,” the first issue of which deals with the topic of “The Artificial Intelligence Technology Race and Competition among Great Powers,” in a panel discussion that reviews the impact of this race on the economy and global politics.

He explained that he will participate with a major research paper in a discussion session on “Economies of Peace in the Middle East and the Global Arena,” where he will present innovative insights into strategies to prevent future conflicts.

He stressed that the Center is taking confident steps to enhance its role in building bridges between cultures and stimulating discussions that contribute to laying the foundations of a more stable and prosperous world, stressing that its participation in the Davos Forum for the second year, with an official invitation, is a new testimony to its pioneering efforts and intellectual contributions to advancing the wheel of progress and development. Sustainable globally.
