Trading activity on the Bahrain Stock Exchange

Bahrain’s general index closed today at 1,904.07, a decrease of 2.23 points from the previous closing rate, due to a decline in the telecommunications sector and financial sector index.

While the Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 764.02, an increase of 0.58 points from its previous closing rate.

The quantity of shares traded today amounted to 429,139 shares, with a total value of 148,396 Bahraini dinars, which were executed through 51 transactions.

Investors’ activity in trading was focused on financial sector shares, as the value of its traded shares amounted to 41.88% of the total value of securities traded.
