"Elite dialogue" Hamda Lootah hosts to transfer experiences and communicate between generations

Dubai, January 21 / WAM / The Saeed Ahmed Lootah Charitable Foundation, in the first sessions of the “Elite Dialogue” initiative for the year 2025, hosted the distinguished educator Hamda Lootah, Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai School of Modern Education, at the Foundation’s headquarters in Dubai.

The session was attended by the deans of Dubai Medical College and Dubai Pharmacy and Nursing Colleges, and more than 120 female students from these colleges.

The “Elite Dialogue” initiative was launched in November 2023 at the initiative of His Excellency Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chief of Police and Public Security in Dubai, with the aim of enabling students to benefit from the experiences of prominent leaders in various fields. Over the past years, it has hosted illustrious names such as Dr. Hossam Mowafi. , pioneer of internal medicine, His Excellency Jamal bin Huwaireb, Executive Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, and Dr. Mona Tahlak, Executive Director of Medical Affairs At Dubai Health Corporation.

The session, entitled “Self-Development,” was opened by Engineer Yahya Saeed Lootah, Vice Chairman of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees, where Hamda Lootah spoke about her journey, which began with her graduation from the first batch of the UAE University in 1981, leading to the founding of the Dubai School of Modern Education, and then its progression into… Prominent educational and administrative positions in the education sector.

During her speech, she stressed the importance of the initiative, adding that the elite dialogue represents an exceptional opportunity to communicate with new generations and share experiences that contribute to shaping their professional and humanitarian future, stressing the need to enhance modern skills such as generative artificial intelligence to keep pace with developments in the labor market, especially in a city like Dubai, which occupies A competitive global position.

Lootah concluded the session by providing valuable advice on the balance between professional and family life, pointing out the unique challenges facing humanitarian professions such as education, medicine and nursing, which require great effort and continuous dedication.

At the conclusion of the session, the female students expressed their great appreciation for the advice and experiences provided by Hamda Lootah that inspired them to develop themselves and achieve their ambitions.

The “Elite Dialogue” initiative aims to build bridges of communication between generations and enhance creative thinking among students through meetings with inspiring leadership figures, which contributes to preparing future leaders to achieve global achievements that keep pace with the aspirations of the UAE.
