A new French arrest warrant against Bashar al-Assad

Agence France-Presse, citing an informed source, reported that a new arrest warrant had been issued against former Syrian President Bashar al-Assad by a French judge.

Last June, the Paris Court of Appeal approved an arrest warrant issued by investigating judges against Assad, who is accused of complicity in committing crimes against humanity in the deadly attacks that occurred in 2013.
