Dubai, January 22 / WAM / Oracle, the global information technology and database company, confirmed that the UAE and the region have witnessed and are witnessing exceptional growth in the use of artificial intelligence and cloud computing technologies, thanks to government initiatives that encourage the adoption of technology and enhance its use.
Speaking to the Emirates News Agency, WAM, today on the sidelines of the Oracle Cloud world tour held in Dubai, Ahmed Adly, Vice President of Cloud Technology Engineering in the Middle East and Africa at Oracle, pointed out that the UAE not only uses artificial intelligence technology, but also develops it.
He said that many artificial intelligence models are being developed here in the Emirates by local competencies, and this represents a very advanced step in this field.
He explained that the UAE and Saudi Arabia are at the forefront in the region in terms of adopting artificial intelligence and cloud computing.
Adly pointed out that Oracle announced during the event today its plans to increase the capabilities of the cloud computing center in the UAE five-fold during the next year.
