Dubai, January 23 / WAM / The General Civil Aviation Authority won 7 awards as part of the Stevie Awards for the Middle East and North Africa region for the year 2025, including 4 gold awards and 3 silver awards.
The authority said, in a statement today, that this achievement reflects its commitment to excellence and innovation, and consolidating its leadership position in shaping the future of the aviation sector in the region.
This year’s edition of the awards was characterized by wide participation, attracting more than 1,100 nominations from various sectors, which highlights the high level of competitiveness and enhances the value of the awards achieved by the Authority.
The gold awards included the “Most Innovative Sustainability Leader of the Year” award, won by His Excellency Saif Mohammed Al Suwaidi, Director General of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, the “Innovative Management in Government” award for entities with more than 100 employees, and the “Innovation in Media Relations” award. Corporate Communications, Investor Relations, and Public Relations,” in addition to the “Most Innovative Technology Team of the Year” award.
The silver awards included the “Thought Leader of the Year” award, which was also won by His Excellency Saif Mohammed Al Suwaidi, the “Most Innovative Corporate Sustainability Program” award, and the “Outstanding Individual Contribution to Sustainability” award, which was won by engineer Maryam Al Balushi.
