Our national team is in the second group of the Asian Junior Cup

Kuala Lumpur, January 23, 2017 (WAM) – Today, Thursday, the Asian Football Confederation held the draw for the U-17 Asian Cup finals, which will be held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, from April 3 to 20, with the participation of 16 of our national teams.
The draw placed our national team in the second group, which includes Japan, Australia, and Vietnam.
The first group included Saudi Arabia (the host), Uzbekistan, Thailand, and China.
While the third group included the teams of the Republic of Korea, Yemen, Afghanistan, and Indonesia.
The fourth included the teams of Iran, Tajikistan, Oman, and North Korea.
The tournament matches are scheduled to be held in the cities of Jeddah and Taif.
According to the AFC, the top 8 finishers are guaranteed their place in the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar – a newly expanded edition that will include 48 teams for the first time.
