The death of cycling team player Ali Ahmed Nasiraei

The player of the National Youth Team and the Sharjah Sports Cycling Club, Ali Ahmed Nasirai, died as a result of an accident that occurred during a training session, after he collided with a car parked on the shoulder of the road while riding a bike with his colleagues, which led to him being seriously injured and subsequently transferred to the hospital before he died.

The Emirates Cycling Federation account published an official condolence in which it mourned the late player, offering sincere condolences and sympathy to his family and colleagues in the club and national team, praying to God to cover him with His vast mercy and dwell him in His spacious paradise.

The player’s last participation with the national team was in the Arab Cycling Road Championship, which was held in Iraq last October, where he represented the Emirates in road competitions in the youth category.
