المملكة: The Al-Haramain Authority launches the portal for submitting Ramadan iftar travel requests
The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques announced the launch of a new electronic portal dedicated to receiving requests to organize travel for fasting people inside the Grand Mosque during the holy Ramadan season.
This comes within the framework of enhancing the quality of services provided to fasting people and visitors and organizing Iftar operations in line with the highest health and administrative standards.
Portal for submitting Ramadan iftar travel requests
Travel locations are chosen according to a specific mechanism, limited to one trip per individual and a maximum of ten trips for charitable organizations.
The Authority stressed the necessity of contracting with approved catering companies and in full compliance with the announced terms and conditions, through the electronic portal.
The components of the Ramadan meal include pitted dates, shreek or fatout bread, ziddah or duqa madini, and a two-hundred milliliter bottle of water.
This is in addition to the possibility of providing additional ingredients with a maximum of two ingredients, such as 100% natural juice, nuts, without crusts, cupcakes, salty or sweet pie, maamoul, cream, and stuffed dates.
Iftar services at the Grand Mosque
The Authority also confirmed the provision of low-calorie meals suitable for people with chronic diseases and diabetics, at twenty percent of individuals’ meals and thirty percent of charitable organizations’ meals, as part of its efforts to meet the needs of all groups and ensure their safety.
The electronic portal provides the ability to view all conditions and controls and submit requests easily and quickly. The Authority stresses the importance of adhering to the approved specifications to ensure the provision of meals that meet the needs of visitors and achieve the desired service and organizational objectives.
Through this initiative, the General Authority for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques seeks to improve the experience of fasting people and visitors in the Grand Mosque, by providing integrated and organized iftar services that contribute to enhancing the spiritual atmosphere of the blessed month of Ramadan.
Enhancing the efficiency of assets and facilities
On the other hand, the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Saudi Facilities Management Company (FMTECH).
This is with the aim of enhancing the efficiency of assets, facilities and services in the Two Holy Mosques. To achieve sustainability in asset and facilities management, in a way that meets international best practices.
As well as promoting the drawing of a joint roadmap; To identify current and future ways of cooperation, and exchange experiences, studies and research, to achieve a fruitful strategic partnership.
