90 students start studying the specialized certificate program in early childhood

Sharjah, on August 5 / WAM / The Sharjah Academy of Education was launched, the activities of the introductory meeting of the specialized certificates program in education for early childhood, with the participation of 90 students who obtained scholarships provided by the Investment Bank, within the first batch of 187 scholarships announced by the Academy last February, with the aim of enabling class assistants and developing their professional skills in the field of early education.

The program comes within the framework of a strategic partnership between the Academy and the Investment Bank, which was announced during the fourth session of the Sharjah International Summit for the Development of Education, with the aim of supporting the quality of education in early childhood, and consolidating the concepts of national identity and the values of Emirati society.

The program, which is accredited by the National Center for Qualifications, is one of the qualitative educational initiatives based on international standards, and was designed in cooperation with the University of Helsinki, Finnish, to combine theoretical knowledge and practical application, in line with the latest trends in the early education sector, and the participants qualify to gain the skills of the twenty -first century in a flexible and specialized educational environment.

The program is presented in both Arabic and English, according to a flexible educational system that allows them to complete the requirements for obtaining a specialized certificate within only six months, to ensure the continuity of vocational learning without affecting their job duties.

The Academy emphasized that the program contributes to building integrated professional learning societies, which includes educational cadres and those involved in developing early education, by enhancing the methods of teaching Arabic, linking curricula to national values, and providing content that is compatible with the local context and the needs of the educational system in the UAE.

The initiative represents a successful model of integration between the banking and educational sectors, and is consistent with the Sharjah Academy of Education’s vision in developing educational competencies and qualifying educational cadres according to the highest international standards.

The Academy called on class assistants who wish to join the program to apply for the Spring 2026 via its website, to take advantage of the available educational scholarships with the support of the investment bank.
