المملكة: Closing 4 exits and entrances on Abu Hadriyah Road. Know the alternative routes

The General Traffic Department, in cooperation with the Special Forces for Road Security, announced the start of implementing a traffic diversion on Abu Hadriyah Road, starting today, Thursday.
This diversion comes as part of large-scale maintenance work on the road extending from the Riyadh Road intersection complex to the King Fahd Road intersection towards the north, with the aim of improving the quality of the roads and raising the level of traffic safety.

Close entrances and exits

The diversion will include closing a number of entrances and exits, as the next exit from the service road to Abu Hadriyah Road to the north will be closed before the intersection with King Fahd Road, and the next ramp from Abu Hadriyah Road to the north leading to King Fahd Road to the east will be closed, in addition to closing the next exit from King Fahd Road. Fahd east towards Abu Hadriyah Road to the north, and the exit from Abu Hadriyah Road to the north leading to King Fahd Road west towards the airport will be closed.
To ensure the smooth flow of traffic, the General Traffic Department clarified the available alternative routes. Those coming from the direction of Bahrain towards King Fahd Road to the east or west towards the airport can use the service road to the north, while those coming from the service road to the north to Abu Hadriyah Road to the north can continue with the service road and then enter. To King Fahd Road east or turn around via Abu Bakr Al Siddiq Interchange.

The General Traffic Department confirmed that these works come within the framework of its continuous endeavor to improve the quality of life in the Eastern Region and improve road services to become more sustainable and sophisticated, calling on road users to adhere to the announced diversions and cooperate with traffic police to ensure their safety and the safety of others.
