The US and Costa Rican foreign ministers discuss combating transnational crime organizations

 The new US Secretary of State discussed with his Costa Rican counterpart, Arnoldo Andre, the fight against transnational crime organizations.

 

A statement on the official website of the US State Department stated that Rubio spoke with Andre To emphasize the importance of the relationship between the United States and Costa Rica in building a safer, stronger, and more prosperous continent. 

 

Minister Rubio thanked Minister State Department Andre calls on Costa Rica to partner with the United States to promote peace, protect regional security from external threats, combat transnational criminal organizations that terrorize our countries, and end the mass migration crisis on our continent by working toward durable solutions.
