Al-Harthy leads the singles in "Pick up the pegs"
Abu Dhabi, January 24 / WAM / The “Budheib 1” team won the “Peg Picking” Championship at the team level, and Saif Mubarak Al Harithi topped the individual category, in the closing competitions yesterday on the fields of the Boudheib Equestrian Academy in Abu Dhabi, with the participation of 13 teams.
The Sahara team won second place, and third place went to the Al-Waleed team, while Muhammad Naeem won silver, and Ahmed Saeed won bronze in the individual category.
The tournament activities were attended and the winners were crowned by Rashid Al Mazrouei, Head of the Stakes Picking Department at the Emirates Equestrian and Racing Federation, and Mohammed Hatem Al Junaibi, Director of Events at the Boudheib Equestrian Academy.
Al Mazrouei confirmed that the competitions witnessed great momentum in the categories of the two rings, the stake, the relay with sword and spear, and the pendants, which reflects the great development witnessed by the game at all levels, and the increasing interest of riders in participating in the tournaments organized by the Equestrian Federation.
