Emirati participation in the Purebred Arabian Horse Beauty Championship in Riyadh

RIYADH, January 25 / WAM / Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Arabian Horse Association, confirmed that Gulf support for Arabian horses has contributed to the renaissance and great development they are witnessing in all their fields and activities, as well as preserving their breeds, which are one of the oldest breeds. Horses in the world.
This came during his attendance at the launch of the activities of the Purebred Arabian Horse Beauty Championship, for the Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz International Arabian Horse Festival 2025, “Title Show,” at the King Abdulaziz Center for Purebred Arabian Horses in Dirab in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan toured the King Abdulaziz Center for Purebred Arabian Horses, the official body concerned with Arabian horses and their registration in the Kingdom. He was briefed on the center’s efforts to improve Arabian horses and preserve their breeds, and praised the great support provided by Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al. Saud, and well organized and prepared by the management of the Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz International Arabian Horse Festival.
The events were attended by Prince Abdul Majeed bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, owner of Akmal Stud, Sheikh Hamad Khaled Al Sabah, owner of Al Hamad Stud, Sheikh Hamad bin Ali Al Thani, owner of Mudar Stud, His Excellency Mohammed Ahmed Al Harbi, Director General of the Emirates Arabian Horse Association, and Abdul Aziz Al Muqbel, Director General of the King Abdulaziz Center for Arabian Horses, and a number of officials in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The tournament witnessed the participation of about 300 horses, owned by 160 owners from Saudi Arabia and more than twenty countries, to compete for various titles.
