On Saturday, the Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip handed over four Israeli hostages to the International Red Cross as part of an exchange deal with Israel after they appeared on a platform in the middle of a square, according to an Agence France-Presse correspondent.
The four hostages, all of whom were soldiers, were wearing military clothing and had been detained in the Gaza Strip since they were taken there during the attack on October 7, 2023.
