The presentations of the General Authority for Culture Palaces, under the supervision of the writer Mohamed Nassef, Vice -President of the Authority, continues with the activities of the Cairo International Book Fair in its fifty -sixth session, with a number of artistic performances of folklore and Arabic music, on the plays of Plaza & quot; 1, 2 & quot;, and continues up to 5 February at the Egypt Center for International Exhibitions, Fifth Settlement, under the slogan & quot; Read .. The performances were submitted under the supervision of the Central Administration for Art Affairs, headed by the artist Ahmed Al -Shafi’i, implemented by the General Administration of Festivals, headed by Iman Hamdi, and the General Administration of Folklore.
& nbsp; The year with more than 165 new titles were carefully chosen and issued within the chains of the authority and others that were issued on the occasion of the exhibition, and presented at reduced prices to the public. Book topics have varied to include history, heritage, popular literature, international translations and books of thought flags in addition to various publications in chains: cinema, biographies, Literature of trips, philosophy, folk studies, plastic art, literary criticism, theater, music, transit, as well as creative works in the story, poetry and novel, along with the pillar of children’s books and a corner in the pavilion of the authority for reduced books.

The child’s corner witnesses a large group of artistic and craft workshops offered by a group of specialized artists and coaches, along with the presented meetings to celebrate the selection of the writer Fatima Al -Muqdoul, the personality of the child’s exhibition, visits and field tours allocated to children participating in the library league in the governorates and children from the new safe areas & quot; Slums alternative & quot;, the authority allocates a special corner for the Tut application for children’s books and magazines.
& nbsp; Amman is a guest of honor of this session, and the name of the late Dr. Ahmed Mustir, the exhibition’s personality, and writer Fatima Al -Muqdoul, was chosen, the character of the child’s book fair.
