Abu Dhabi, January 28 / WAM / The Ministry of Economy organized today the “leadership program for development” in the Al Dhafra region of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi with the aim of enhancing communication with entrepreneurs in the region and supporting their empowerment to establish new and pioneering start -up projects, and motivate them to expand locally and abroad, as well as see their experiences and challenges that Standing in front of their business growth.

The event was attended by His Excellency Alia Bint Abdullah Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Entrepreneurship, and Moza Al Nasiri, Acting CEO of Khalifa Fund for Project Development.

His Excellency Alia Al Mazrouei stressed that the UAE believes that business leaders and innovative business owners are the driving force to achieve a prosperous future for current and future generations, and to accelerate the shift towards the new economic model based on knowledge and innovation.

She added that the entrepreneurship sector and small and medium enterprises in the country achieve continuous growth, as Emirati youth established 25 thousand small and medium companies during the year 2024, and small and medium -sized companies constitute 94% of the total companies operating in the UAE markets, and contribute 63.5% to GDP Oil for the national economy, and the UAE embraces more than 50 incubators and speed of government and private businesses.

She pointed to the great and continuous attention that the state attaches to developing and developing the national entrepreneurship system based on global best practices, and providing flexible economic legislative policies that would establish emerging projects easily and accelerate the growth of small and medium -sized companies, especially with the continuous developments of the legislative system of the entrepreneurship sector in The state.

Her Excellency said that the event represents a prominent platform to highlight the ingredients of the entrepreneurial environment in the Emirates and how to benefit from them, and to exchange ideas, visions and experiences in all activities and sectors related to the sectors of entrepreneurship and small and medium enterprises, and we were keen through this event to see innovative pioneering projects For entrepreneurs in the Al Dhafra region, listen to their ideas and proposals on the possibilities they need to develop and develop their projects, and encourage them to establish new projects that serve society and contribute to strengthening the economic march of the state.

His Excellency Alia Al Mazrouei reviewed the entrepreneurial system launched by the Ministry of Economy last November and included 4 main initiatives, which are, “Rada Fund”, “Emirates Business Entrepreneurship”, “Establishing a Unified National Entrepreneurship Platform”, and the Emirates Entrepreneurial Youth Council Noting the importance of strengthening the benefit of pioneers and entrepreneurs in the seven Emirates with the opportunities and potentials offered by these initiatives, in order to enhance the competitiveness of national entrepreneurship and push them to more advanced and prosperous levels.
