The UAE and Egypt are considering the prospects for cognitive cooperation to support youth

Dubai, January 28 / WAM / The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Knowledge and the Egyptian Knowledge Youth Office discussed the prospects for joint cooperation with the aim of empowering young people and qualifying them for the labor market through joint initiatives.
This came during a discussion symposium titled “The role of youth in building a knowledge society” was held on the sidelines of the activities of the Cairo International Book Fair 2025, with the participation of His Excellency Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports, and His Excellency Jamal bin Huwairb, Executive Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation and managed by Dr. Hani Turki, head of technical advisers and director of the knowledge project in the United Nations Development Program and Fathi Imad, Director of the Egyptian Knowledge Youth Office.
His Excellency Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, during the symposium attended by a large number of Egyptian youth, praised the efforts of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Knowledge in the areas of publishing and promoting knowledge, pointing out that the Egyptian Knowledge Youth Office constitutes a real knowledge platform supporting the empowerment of young people through activities and dialogues organized in Youth Development Centers, Youth Centers and Culture Palaces and link them with all the topics on the scene with the participation of experts and specialists.
His Excellency the Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports directed the search for knowledge and deepening more in the services of the office, which is responsible for empowering Egyptian youth and enhancing their capabilities.
During the symposium, His Excellency Jamal bin Huwairb stressed the importance of young people possessing advanced future skills to move forward in the development of states and achieving their well -being and facing the rapid changes and challenges witnessed by societies around the world in various fields and to contribute to the filling of the gap between the pioneers of the technology industry and societies, especially as statistics on digital transformation and its skills Arab and globally indicates the great shortage between the skills that individuals possess and what the technology industry imposes around the world.
Ibn Huwairib said that the issue of developing future skills requires mobilizing efforts and close cooperation between countries and institutions in order to exchange experiences and cognitive resources and provide qualitative knowledge and training sources in this framework such as the “Future Skills Academy” project launched by the Foundation and the United Nations Development Program in cooperation with the Corsira educational platform with a goal Providing individuals in the Arab region with the professional and academic skills necessary to keep pace with the requirements of the changing labor market and ensure a sophisticated and sustainable future.
Within the symposium, Dr. Hani Turki gave a detailed explanation about the “Academy of Future Skills” and the training programs that it provides, which were carefully designed to meet the aspirations of individuals and enable them to engage in building a prosperous and sustainable future at all levels, while Fathi Imad touched on the role of the Egyptian Knowledge Youth Office and its achievements in the field Empowering Egyptian youth.
