America informs the United Nations to withdraw from the Paris Climate Agreement

The United Nations confirmed on Tuesday that it had received a notice from Washington that the United States will withdraw from the Paris Climate Agreement, in implementation of the pledge of the commitment to President Donald Trump during his election campaign.
“I can assure you that the United States has informed the Secretary -General on January 27 this year from the Paris Agreement,” said Stefan Dujarric, a spokesman for the United Nations Secretary -General Antonio Guterres.

He added, “According to the second paragraph of Article 28 of the Paris Climate Agreement, the United States withdraws into force on January 27, 2026,” he added.
