Launching a attendance workshop on cinematic production in Abha

The Film Authority has announced the organization of a attendance workshop entitled “An Introduction to Film Production”, which will be held in Abha from the second to the sixth of February.
The workshop aims to provide specialized training to introduce filmmakers on the basis of Arab and international cinematic production, as it deals with all stages of development to distribution with a focus on how to implement the production process in a professional and effective manner.

The workshop extends for five days and participates from 10 to 12 participants, and it is presented in both Arabic and English, and it is presented by the cinematic producer Osama Bouardi, the Academy Award candidate, where the participants will provide his practical experiences in the field of cinematic production.

Film production process

The workshop deals with a number of basic axes, which include the development of the scenario and the film project, financing strategies, budget preparation, preparation for production, effective planning, managing the imaging process, dealing with work teams, in addition to the technical stages of post -production such as montage, sound design, distribution and cinematic marketing strategies.

The workshop seeks to achieve a number of outputs that include enabling the participants to comprehensively understand the process of film production and acquire practical skills in developing cinematic projects, finance, production management and post -production and professional distribution.
It also aims to enhance the ability of participants to implement their cinematic projects in professional ways according to international standards.

The workshop targets novice filmmakers who want to develop their productive skills, media students and cinema looking for practical experience, and emerging cinematic owners who are interested in the fields of media and marketing who seek to expand their knowledge of the film industry.
