The Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Chairman of the World Summit for Governments, Mohamed Abdullah Al-Garqawi, revealed the details of the World Summit of Governments 2025, to start from 10-12 February.

Unprecedented global participation
He stated during the summit dialogue hosted yesterday by the Future Museum that the summit in the 2025 edition attracts more than 4000 participants from senior leaders, government officials, experts and future pioneers, as it will be attended by more than 30 heads of state and government.

Al -Qarqawi added: “The summit will witness the presence of more than 400 ministers, in the largest global ministerial gathering, in addition to the participation of 27 international organizations, the most prominent of which are: the World Economic Forum (Davos) – the International Monetary Fund, the International Atomic Energy Agency, the International Finance Corporation – and UNESCO Union International Telecommunications and the League of Arab States, the Gulf Cooperation Council.

A pivotal role for the private sector
He stressed the importance of the role of the private sector, in addition to governments and international organizations, as it includes posts from major international companies in the areas of artificial intelligence, energy, transportation, tourism, media and the financial sector.
