المملكة: More than 40 entries certificates of accreditation of artificial intelligence service providers

The head of the National Data Management Office at the Saudi Organization for Data and Artificial Intelligence “Sayya” Al -Rabdi bin Fahd Al -Rabdi, today, handed over 40 entities certificates of accreditation of artificial intelligence services providers in the Kingdom after they met the requirements and standards of mature practice related to artificial intelligence products and services at the level of reliability and the adoption of responsible use, Commitment to the principles and ethics of artificial intelligence.
This came at the conclusion of the meeting organized by the Saudi Organization for Data and Artificial Intelligence “Sayya” today, and discussed for two days the reality of the organization and governance of artificial intelligence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the presence of exceeding 700 officials from the government and private sectors in a hotel in Riyadh.

The issuance of the accreditation certificate comes within the strategic objectives of the authority towards the Kingdom’s leadership in adopting the responsible use of artificial intelligence, and the authorities wishing to obtain certificate and ticks can enter the link of the national data governance platform.

The meeting was widely interacting with the participation of a group of experts, specialists, interested people and representatives of the government and private sectors, during which the Kingdom’s readiness report was discussed in artificial intelligence, enhancing the responsible use in raising the level of maturity in artificial intelligence, and the importance of adopting controls and policies that support the moral use of smart technologies in the Kingdom, as Representatives of the first universities and adopters of artificial intelligence have reviewed their local and global experiences in achieving the responsible use of artificial intelligence products.

Participants discussed the study of artificial intelligence organizations in the sectors, the achievements and challenges facing the artificial intelligence organization in sectors from government and private agencies, in addition to standing on international experiences in the field.

This meeting embodies the relevant endeavors made by the Saudi Organization for Data and Artificial Intelligence with the aim of organizing the sectors of data and artificial intelligence in the Kingdom by setting policies, standards and controls of its own and how to deal with them while raising the level of awareness and adoption of policies, provisions of regulations, regulations and relevant decisions regarding data and artificial intelligence, As the national reference for artificial data and intelligence in everything related to organizing, developing and dealing in the Kingdom, in a way that contributes to raising the level of practice and maturity for the services and products of artificial intelligence in the Kingdom to achieve the targets of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision.
