Dubai Municipality activates the emergency evacuation system for people of determination in the beaches of Al -Mamzar

Dubai Municipality has announced the activation of an emergency evacuation system for people of determination in the beaches of Al -Mamzar as the first system of its kind in the Middle East, which is a qualitative shift that reflects the extent of the interest of the Emirate of Dubai to ensure the best levels of safety and security for various segments of society, foremost of which is the category of determination, in order to establish the leadership and attractiveness of Dubai As the best city of life in the world.

The emergency evacuation system mainly includes the people of determination; A device that covers the entire beach area composed at the rescue towers, and includes clear warning lighting, a letter of evacuation for all beach visitors, headphones with a clear extent to the evacuation site for visual disabilities, and also works to send vibrations for hearing disabilities to notify them of a specific emergency with a warning to make evacuation.

Commenting on this, the Executive Director of the Public Utilities Foundation in the Dubai Municipality, Badr Anouhi, said: “The wise leadership in the Emirate of Dubai has always been keen to provide an integrated society with the best levels of generous life that guarantees that all its members live with advanced standards of health, safety and security, including among them The category of peoples. Anwahi added: “The emergency evacuation system for people of determination in the beaches of Al -Mamzar is a new achievement that confirms the efforts of Dubai Municipality and its keenness to take care of public health and safety levels for people of determination, and by providing all services that meet their requirements and needs, in order to achieve its goal in making Dubai the most attractive, sustainable and quality of life.”

Besides, the municipality succeeded in creating an indicative device in the training center of people with anxiety of audiovisual disabilities, which is a comprehensive guide and an emergency tracking device that accompanies them in various places. The device consists of compounded sensors in various regions of the center and distributed on certain areas attached to the device, as it notifies the person in the name of the area or the place where it is currently inside the center. It also includes a tracker attached to the center’s reception places to know the location of the owners of determination in the building in the event of emergency situations.
