The President of the State visits Mohammed bin Zayed University for artificial intelligence

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, visited yesterday, Mohammed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence in Masdar City in Abu Dhabi.

During a tour of the university’s departments and facilities, His Highness reviewed the study programs offered by the university and the most prominent research fields that they are interested in and the capabilities it provides to students, in addition to its partnerships with international institutions concerned with artificial intelligence studies.

His Highness also visited the university’s data observatory, where the researchers and faculty members presented five research projects in the field of artificial intelligence, related to energy and climate alongside the fields of medicine, genetics, media and robots, in addition to two young companies from the university’s nursery and entrepreneurial center.

During the tour, His Highness the President of the State met the President of Mohammed bin Zayed University for Artificial Intelligence Professor Eric Zing, and a number of members of the administrative and teaching bodies, along with a number of graduate students, and urged them to persevere and exert more effort in obtaining the sciences in which they serve their homelands and societies.

His Highness affirmed that the university is an important tributary that enhances the development of the development state about investment in the field of artificial intelligence and advanced technology, and the preparation of national cadres specialized in this vital field, along with the establishment of the varied economy based on knowledge, foremost of which is artificial intelligence and ensuring its sustainability for the generations of the present and the future, expressing His Highness about He looks forward to the university to contribute to building a scientific base of research and studies specialized in artificial intelligence, and the future of this field.

His Highness also expressed his thanks to all those in charge of the university, its cadres and wishes for them.

For his part, Professor Eric Zeing said: “The University of Mohammed bin Zayed for artificial intelligence has made important achievements since its establishment, as it ranked in the tenth place globally in the field of artificial intelligence and computer vision, machine learning, natural language processing, robotics, and computer biology, praising With the continuous support that the university enjoys by the state leadership.

During the tour, His Highness was accompanied by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and head of the Presidential Bureau, His Highness Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, National Security Adviser, and His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the Court Presidency for Special Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the President of the State, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Head of the Executive Affairs Agency Khaldoun Khalifa Al Mubarak, Head of the President of the State for Strategic Affairs and Head of Abu Dhabi Executive Office Dr. Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, and number One of the senior officials.
