"Sharjah Heritage" It strengthens its role in the cultural heritage in the exhibition "Cairo for the book"

Sharjah, February 2/ WAM/ The Sharjah Institute of Heritage, during its participation in the activities of the Cairo International Book Fair 2025, which continues until February 5, seeks to enhance cooperation with Egyptian institutions in the fields of heritage, scientific research, book and publishing industry, as well as presenting a wealthy cultural program, which includes seminars And dialogue sessions, signatures and literary releases inside and outside the exhibition, reflecting its commitment to spreading Emirati and Arab culture and heritage and promoting cultural dialogue at the regional and international levels.

Dr. Abdulaziz Al -Muslim, President of the Institute, said that participation in the exhibition comes as an extension of the enlightened cultural vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, which emphasizes the importance of the book as a bridge of knowledge and a tool to preserve and enhance cultural heritage, stressing the institute’s keenness on Providing qualitative titles bearing rich contents in the fields of heritage in its material and non -material aspects, allowing the reader the opportunity to increase his various treasures and get to know the ancient Arab cultural heritage, pointing out that the number of publications of the institute exceeds 1001 titles that include encyclopedias, dictionaries, books and specialized studies.

He stressed that the Sharjah Heritage Institute is keen in each of the exhibition to provide a distinguished participation enriching the cultural scene through qualitative publications that include dictionaries, encyclopedias, books and specialized studies that contribute to promoting scientific research and documenting Arab heritage.

The institute participated in the session “The Future of Cultural Heritage in a Changing World” and the “Joint Arab Publishing” session and the Sharjah Institute of Heritage .. The institute’s cultural program witnesses the launch of new publications that highlights various heritage topics, including the book “Arab Popular Poetry” and the book “Traditional Foods in Events, Celebrations and Festival” and the book “The Art of Flying Glass” by Dr. Khaled Metwally, along with other works that celebrate the Arab cultural heritage and contribute to Enriching the Arab Library.
