She said in a statement on this occasion: “The declaration of His Highness the President of the State represents a new stage in the UAE’s progress towards enhancing the values of humanity, societal peace and national cohesion, and this year is a great opportunity to expand the vision towards a more stable society, while emphasizing the role of community members in supporting aspirations Our wise leadership towards a bright future of the state, with the certainty that the future not only depends on technological and scientific development, but also requires a sustainable societal development that is in line with the challenges of the modern era, while preserving the principles and cultural identity of the state and its moral values.
She emphasized that the real start of this development begins with the family, as the basic unit in building society, by enhancing family cohesion and awareness of the rights and duties of each individual in it, in a manner that ensures the effective contribution to promoting societal cohesion and achieving the goals of the general community.
She said: “We have a great opportunity this year to face multiple challenges that the Emirati society faces, including the trend towards individual isolation within the spatial dimension of the family and the negative effects of social networks and other challenges that directly affect the cohesion and national cohesion, and that it is time to support our rational leadership for the year Society to face these challenges, enhance the values of authentic Emirati society, enhance the values of coexistence and tolerance, and strengthen ties between individuals and institutions.
She added, “The year of society represents an opportunity to enhance societal awareness and encourage effective contribution to building a bright future for Emirati society and enhancing the participation of Emirati culture in building modern human civilization, and to be an effective element in it.”
Sheikha Shamma stressed the importance of supporting concepts such as societal innovation, not only in technology and science, but also in societal relations and methods of interaction with various issues, as well as in enhancing cooperation between individuals and governmental and non -governmental institutions to support the mature community movement shown on our cultural and value heritage in the UAE.
She pointed out that the institutions of Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan cultural and educational will continue to support Emirati society, and to preserve its cultural identity and human heritage, as they represent the national identity and human heritage mainly in all activities and initiatives.
