“We will respond firmly” .. How does Europe manage the battle for imposing drawings with Trump?

A spokesman for the European Commission said, “The European Union will firmly respond to any commercial partner that imposes unfairly or arbitrarily fees on the European Union goods.”

He described the move as harmful to all parties, while a European Commission spokesman said that “the European Union regrets the United States’ decision to impose customs duties on Canada, Mexico and China.”

Trump fees on Mexico, Canada and China

On Saturday, the US President signed an order to impose harsh customs duties on imports from Mexico, Canada and China.
However, it raises the possibility of prices to increase prices on American consumers, while Trump declared an economic emergency to impose 10% fees on all imports from China.
Likewise, imposing 25% fees on imports from Mexico and Canada – the largest of the US trading partners – with the exception of Canadian oil, which will be a 10% fee.
