A cinematic director condemning the sexual assault on actress Adele Inel

A Paris court convicted a cinematic director of sexual assault on the French actress, Adele Inel, when she was between 12 and 15 years old in the early first decade of this century, in the first major trial related to the “Mi To” movement in France.
The court sentenced the film director Christophe Rojia today, Monday, to two years in prison under house arrest with an electronic bracelet, in addition to a two -year prison sentence.
Roger had denied any violations.

A prominent actress

Enell, who is now 35 years old, was the first prominent actress in France to accuse the film industry in turn a blind eye to sexual assaults after the launch of the “Mi To” movement.
In 2019, Inil accused Roger of touching her inappropriately during and after filming the movie “Li Dubly” or (demons) in the early first decade of this century.
Inel expressed her satisfaction after the ruling on Monday, as some activists in the field of women’s rights applauded her while leaving the courtroom.
Roger’s lawyer said that her client would appeal the ruling.
