"Geographical information" Participates in the meeting of the geomet of the possibility in Jeddah

Abu Dhabi, February 6/ WAM/ A delegation from the Federal Center for Geographical Information headed by His Excellency Eng. Hamed Khamis Al -Kaabi, Director General of the Center, participated in the twelfth meeting of the Arab Committee of the United Nations Experts for Geems, which was held in Jeddah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during the period from 2 To February 6, 2025.

This committee is one of the regional committees emanating from the United Nations Experts Committee for the Global Cypical Information Management, which has been established to coordinate efforts and unify them among Arab countries in the field of geimonial information.

Three major work teams that include the Geodisi reference team, the gymnastic governance team, and the integrated framework team for geometrocate are emanated from the committee.

The center participated in the work of the fifth meeting of the high -level team of the integrated framework of the global geimonial information, which is emanating from the United Nations Experts Committee, which was held in conjunction with the Arab Committee meeting.

His Excellency Eng. Anwar Al-Shammari, Executive Director of the Geems Information Governance Sector, the head of the Arab Cynist Governance Team, presented a presentation on the empowerment of women and their pioneering role in the Arab geomacan sector, as well as another presentation on the comprehensive plan for the gymnastics governance of Arab countries (2025-2026), Review the future trends and procedures necessary to achieve the comprehensive strategy of the requirements of geimonial governance.

For his part, Engineer Abdullah Al -Naqbi, an expert on the Geodisi, made a presentation on the unified national Geodisi reference for the United Arab Emirates, through which he reviewed the experience of the leading country in this field.

The meeting witnessed a celebration on the occasion of the ten -year anniversary of the establishment of the Arab Committee for the United Nations Information Experts, the possibility, attended by a number of officials, experts and specialists from the Arab member states, in addition to representatives of the Secretariat of the United Nations Experts Committee for the Global Cypical Information Management, and a group of international experts and international organizations The link.
