Representatives of the “Gulf Cooperation Council” to the United Nations hold a meeting with Guterres against the backdrop of the brutal Iranian aggression.

The permanent representatives of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries to the United Nations met in New York with the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, against the backdrop of the brutal Iranian aggression that targeted the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, headed by Ambassador Jamal Fares Al-Ruwaie, the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Nations in New York, in the Kingdom’s capacity as President of the forty-sixth session of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
The Permanent Representative, together with representatives of the sisterly countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council, reviewed the latest developments in the GCC countries as a result of the unjustified, sinful Iranian aggression that targeted civilian facilities, vital infrastructure, and energy facilities, in addition to airports and ports, which constitutes a violation of the United Nations Charter, international law, and the principles of good neighborliness.
The permanent delegates also provided briefings showing the extent of the targeting to which the GCC countries are exposed, while emphasizing the full ability and maximum readiness of the air defenses in the GCC countries to confront and neutralize the aggression.
