The Al -Wahat Security Directorate said, in a statement, that 19 bodies were found in a mass grave in a farm in the Agabira region, 441 km from the city of Benghazi, the second largest city in Libya, noting that the deaths are linked to smuggling activities.
The branch of the Criminal Investigation Agency in the oases announced at the end of last January the liberation of 263 immigrants of different nationalities from sub -Saharan countries, and said that they were “detained with a smuggling gang in bad human and health conditions.”
On the other hand, the Libyan Red Crescent said that a team affiliated with it recovered the bodies of ten migrants earlier yesterday after their boat sank off the port of Dila in the city of Zawiya, about 40 km from the capital, Tripoli.
