Dubai, February 7 / WAM / The Knowledge Exchange Office at the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs in the UAE government, in cooperation with the country’s embassy in Washington, organized a dialogue session entitled “The Competitiveness of the Emirates and the role of youth in development and promoting international cooperation”, attended by 40 students from the Emirates students studying in The United States of America in various disciplines; To introduce the UAE achievements in the field of exchanging experiences with the countries of the world.

This came within the framework of the efforts of the UAE government to enhance communication with scholarship students and introduce them to the aspirations and visions of the UAE government for the future, and to raise their awareness of the strategic directions of the state and the importance of international cooperation.

His Excellency Abdullah Nasser Lootah, Assistant Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Competitiveness and Knowledge Exchange, in the presence of His Excellency Alia Al Suwaidi, Vice -President of the State Mission in Washington, and Manal bin Salem, Director of Government Cognitive Exchange Management and the UAE embassy team in the United States.

Lootah expressed pride and pride in the achievement of the government and the UAE, and its advanced place in the indicators of global competitiveness, its pioneering role in innovation, sustainability, knowledge economy, and other fields, stressing the belief of the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs in the role of youth in ensuring the sustainability of this progress and prosperity, and proceeding with The global leadership path, by building government partnerships with more than 45 countries around the world, to build capabilities, enhance efficiency and develop government work.

The session discussed several interviews, the most prominent of which is the global competitiveness of the UAE, its advanced position in global indicators, its pioneering role in innovation, sustainability, knowledge economy, and the axis The strategic partnerships that the UAE expects with the countries of the world.

The session touched on the role of the Emirati youth in development, the importance of acquiring global knowledge and experiences, and the role of students in contributing to achieving the goals and directions of the vision of “We Emirates 2031”.

The delegation of the government knowledge exchange office in the American capital, Washington, met officials from John Hopkins University, and discussed with them programs related to the sustainable development goals, and the most important achieved by the UAE in this field.

The delegation also met His Excellency Ali Al -Hosani, Deputy Executive Director of the Arab Group at the International Monetary Fund, His Excellency Abdulaziz Al -Mulla, Executive Director of the World Bank Group, and senior officials at the World Bank headquarters, in Washington, DC, and discussed with them ways to enhance the fruitful partnership and the constructive relationship between the two sides.
