starting "ICAO symposium to support implementation" and"Global Sustainable Aviation Market" In Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, February 10/ WAM/ The work of the Fourth World Symposium to Support Implementation 2025, organized by the General Authority of Civil Aviation and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), and the accompanying exhibition, was launched, in addition to launching the first edition of the “Global Market Initiative” For sustainable aviation, “which is one of the important Emirati initiatives organized under the umbrella of” ICAO “, and aims to accelerate global efforts to produce alternative and carbon alternative fuel for the international aviation sector.

The international event, which will continue until February 12, will witness wide participation at the global level, as more than 1500 participants from the representatives of the 193 member states of the ICAO organization, including a large number of ministers, presidents and public directors concerned with transport, aviation and energy, bring together. The event’s agenda also includes 150 speakers from specialists, senior government officials, experts and chief executives of the leading companies in these vital industries, in addition to the accompanying exhibition, which includes 75 international companies specialized in the fields of aviation, energy and advanced technology.

The global symposium to support implementation is one of the most prominent international events organized by the International Civil Aviation Organization “ICAO”, with the aim of enhancing the safety, security and sustainability of civil aviation at the global level.

The current version hosted by the UAE is the first to be held in the Middle East, where it focuses in particular on two main axes: sustainability and the employment of artificial intelligence in the civil aviation sector.

The event also includes a number of activities that include discussion sessions, workshops, and an opportunity to communicate and exchange knowledge between the participants, which enhances the construction of international partnerships and contributes to the formulation of the future of the civil aviation sector.
