المملكة: The Kingdom leads the safety index between the G20 countries

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the G20 countries, according to state data in the United Nations database of indicators of sustainable development goals compared to the results of the safety index for the year 2023 AD, issued by the General Authority for Statistics, today.
The results showed that the percentage of those who feel safe from the total population while walking alone at night in their residence areas was 92.6%.

The results announced by the authority indicated the role of the relevant state sectors in achieving the safety that the Kingdom’s residents enjoy in all regions and governorates, as this came in line with the efforts made to provide security, safety and a decent life in the Kingdom for many different fields, including economic, food, and environmental security, The health, social, political, intellectual, technician and cyber, etc., and upgrading the services provided, in order to achieve the Kingdom’s 2030 vision.
It is noteworthy that the Kingdom is the first within the Group of Twenty in the high percentage of the security index in the Sustainable Development Report 2020 AD.
The safety index in the neighborhood is one of the outputs of the family social economic survey that was implemented during the year 2023 AD, and the survey includes a number of indicators that serve the economic, social and family fields in the Kingdom, and it is concerned with calculating the percentage of the population who feel safe while walking alone in their areas of residence.
