Ajman on February 10/ WAM/ A study conducted by the University of Ajman showed that 94% of students in the UAE use artificial intelligence tools in their studies, but a third of them suffer from pressure due to concerns about errors in answers or charges related to literary theft and data leakage.
The University of Ajman and in response to these challenges, in 2024, launched the “Studioste” platform, which provides a student review service using artificial intelligence with feedback accredited by the university in minutes, and is available throughout the week.
The platform aims to improve students ’academic skills while preserving academic integrity, rather than relying on ready answers.
Dr. Karim Al -Sagheer, Director of Ajman University, stressed the university’s commitment to adopting artificial intelligence tools commensurate with academic integrity, pointing to the importance of changing the academic culture so that students can learn their mistakes.
He pointed out that excessive dependence on artificial intelligence represents a challenge, so the university was keen to provide safe and moral methods for its use.
For his part, Dr. Ashraf Mahaati, chief economist at the Dubai Export Corporation, stressed that the use of artificial intelligence tools approved by universities enhances safety and provides equal opportunities for all students.
It is noteworthy that this study was conducted by the “Studioste” platform in cooperation with “Yougov”.
