"Ferjan Dubai" organize "Ferjan Festival"
Dubai, February 11/ WAM/ The activities of the third session of the Ferjan Festival organized by the Furjan Dubai, the voluntary social institution aimed at promoting social communication between neighborhood residents in Dubai through virtual platforms, in cooperation with the Furjan Fund, and Dubai Municipality , And it will continue until February 26 in the Musharraf National Park.
This comes in conjunction with the announcement of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State “may God protect him”, in the year 2025 “The Year of Society”, which aims to enhance ties within families and society in a way that reflects the vision of leadership towards building a coherent and prosperous society, and in support of the Dubai Social Agency 33, In order to enhance societal interdependence and enable emerging national talents and projects at the heart of Dubai society.
In its third edition, the festival organizes activities that contribute to the consolidation of rapprochement and convergence between members of the neighborhoods and Dubai, and provides a climate that serves the strengthening of social solidarity in the sons of the emirate, as it is the first of its kind that combines arts, heritage, entrepreneurship, and family activities, in an integrated community experience It reflects Dubai’s spirit and values, and creates a participatory platform that allows emerging individuals and projects the opportunity to appear and interact with society in a distinctive festive environment.
Badr Ahmed Hassan Anouhi, Executive Director of the Public Utilities Foundation in Dubai Municipality, said that the Furjan Festival is not just an entertainment event, but rather a platform that reflects the spirit of societal cohesion that distinguishes Dubai, through it, we are witnessing a real interaction between the various groups of society.
He added that the role of the Dubai Municipality in supporting such events stems from our vision in providing a sustainable and societal environment that embraces the targeted initiatives that contribute to achieving a better quality of life for Dubai residents, expressing its pride that the Dubai Municipality is part of this unique experience, which enhances social ties, and provides Opportunities for learning, development, and innovation, in line with the strategic directions of Dubai as a global city that places man and society at the forefront of its priorities.
For his part, Rashid Al -Hajri, Director of Al -Furjan Fund, stressed that the festival sponsorship stems from the Fund’s vision in supporting societal initiatives that contribute to promoting the quality of life in Dubai, pointing out that the Furjan Fund believes in the importance of supporting events that combine entertainment and community development, where the festival is formed Al -Furjan “is a vital platform for empowering individuals and enhancing the culture of initiative

For its part, Alia Al -Shamlan, Director of Ferjan Dubai, stressed that the festival aims to create a societal environment that encourages communication and interaction between individuals, noting that the event is not just a festival, but a platform to enhance social cohesion and enable emerging talents, and that the festival creates an integrated experience that combines culture, Creativity and entrepreneurship.
The events include various programs and initiatives that celebrate emerging national projects such as “the right of the night”, which are an ancient Emirati tradition, and the young destiny to stimulate the spirit of entrepreneurship in children, and the Dubai Popular Cooking Championship for the taste of authentic Emirati flavors, and the classic car exhibition to explore the history of design and innovation along with many Events and interactive workshops.
It is noteworthy that the Furjan Fund seeks to provide support and financing for the social projects provided by citizens or institutions of public benefit, to implement societal initiatives and events in the residential neighborhoods of citizens, as the fields of the Fund’s work include educational and awareness programs, entertainment activities, community sports projects, and seasonal events projects.
