Maktoum bin Muhammad discusses with the Turkish Minister of Treasury and Finance to enhance financial, commercial and investment cooperation

His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the first deputy governor of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, met today, Mohammed Shimashk, Minister of Treasury and Finance in the Republic of Turkey, where His Highness confirmed that the UAE and Turkey have strong historical relations.

His Highness said in a post on the “X” platform: “We gathered with Turkey with strong historical relations, and we are working to strengthen the economic partnership between our two countries to support sustainable growth and open new horizons for prosperity.

His Highness continued: “During my meeting with Mohamed Shimashk, Minister of Treasury and Financial in the Republic of Turkey, on the sidelines of the global summit – governments in Dubai, we discussed ways to enhance financial, commercial and investment cooperation, in a way that contributes to achieving our common aspirations. We believe in the importance of building economic bridges that support sustainable development and provide promising opportunities for the peoples of the two countries .
