The UAE confirms its commitment to support all joint Arab action frameworks in the development fields

The United Arab Emirates affirmed its constant commitment to support all the frameworks of joint Arab action in various developmental fields, based on the vision and directives of its rational leadership.

This came in the speech of Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al Malik, head of the Department of International Organizations at the Ministry of Economy, during the opening of the meeting of senior preparatory officials for the 115th session of the Arab Social and Economic Council, whose work was launched today at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab League, with the participation of senior officials in Arab economy ministries, and the presence of Ambassador Haifa Abu Ghazaleh, Assistant Secretary -General of the Arab League, Head of the Social Affairs Sector, and Ambassador Ali Al -Maliki, Assistant Secretary -General, Head of Economic Affairs, Arab League.

Ibn Suleiman stressed the importance of the meeting of senior officials of the ministries of economics in the Arab countries, as it represents a basic station in preparing the recommendations that will be submitted to the 115th session of the Arab Economic and Social Council at the ministerial level scheduled for Thursday at the Arab League.

He expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States for its accurate follow -up and its active management of the subjects listed, which constituted a supportive framework for constructive discussions that serve the issues of the region.

He also thanked all member states for their positive contributions that reflect the sincere desire to achieve the aspirations of Arab countries and peoples.

Ibn Suleiman stressed the keenness of the UAE during its presidency of the 114th session of the Arab Social and Economic Council to support all joint Arab efforts to achieve tangible progress in various economic, social and environmental aspects and all other major sectors and axes of work, as it is one of the pillars of comprehensive and sustainable development of Arab countries.

And the price of Arab efforts made to follow up important development projects, including initiatives and projects that support economic growth, prosperity of trade and investment, development of economic policies, and build competencies, and Arab human resources development strategies, enhance integration in the fields of technology, industry, entrepreneurship, and other priority sectors .

He said that these efforts reflected a real commitment to strengthening joint Arab action, in order to support the interests of member states and achieve the hopes of the Arab peoples in welfare and development.

At the end of his speech, Ibn Suleiman announced the delivery of the presidency of the next session of the sisterly Kingdom Joint Arab interests.
