After his call with Putin and Zelinski … Trump announces the approaching negotiations of the Ukraine war.
President Trump revealed in a post on social media today, Wednesday, a phone call with President Putin, and said they “will work together very closely.”
The call came after an exchange deal for prisoners, according to which Russia released American teacher Mark Fujel, from Pennsylvania, after he was imprisoned for more than 3 years.
Two American officials confirmed today, Wednesday, that action is being taken to release Alexander Phoenic, a Russian convicted, as part of an exchange deal that witnessed Moscow’s release from Mark Vogel.
Ending the war in Ukraine
US President Donald Trump and his Ukrainian counterpart, Voludeimir Zellinski, announced that they had spoken by phone about the efforts to end the war in Ukraine.
Zelinski wrote on the social media platform “X”, that the conversation was important, and said they discussed the opportunities to achieve peace, in addition to the previous phone call that took place between Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Ukraine wants peace
“No one is more than Ukraine wants peace,” Zillings said.
Trump wrote on his “Truth Social” platform that the conversation was very good, and that Zelinski wanted to achieve peace.
Trump indicated that his deputy and his foreign minister will meet Zellinski at the security conference in Munich tomorrow, Friday, and added: I hope that the results of this meeting will be positive.
