The Minister of Foreign Affairs opens the headquarters of his country’s embassy to the state

Abu Dhabi, February 12/ WAM/ His Excellency Frederick Mitchell, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Commonwealth, opened the headquarters of his country’s embassy in Abu Dhabi, in the presence of His Excellency Omar Shehadeh, the envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs to the Caribbean Islands.
The opening was attended by His Excellency Tony Judy, Ambassador of Commonwealth, the Bahamas Islands of the state, the members of the embassy, and a number of members of the diplomatic corps accredited to the state and the people of the Bahamas community.
His Excellency Frederick Mitchell said in a speech during the opening ceremony that the presence of an embassy for his country in the UAE reflects the depth of the friendship that links the two countries and which we hope will become stronger.
He added that the UAE is a strategic partner for the Commonwealth of Bahamas and expressed his hope to strengthen the partnership between the two friendly countries, praising the pioneering status that the UAE enjoys at the regional and international levels.
His Excellency thanked and appreciated His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs for his active role in strengthening and developing the relations of the two countries.
For his part, His Excellency Omar Shehadeh wished the Babama Svikkum, His Excellency Tony Judy, success in his work duties as an ambassador to his country to the UAE.
