His Excellency Abdullah bin Touq Al -Marri stressed that the UAE has an advanced legislative environment to protect consumer rights based on global best practices that contribute to enhancing communication between the ministry and economic development departments in the country and the relevant government agencies to exercise control over sales outlets, provide a competitive consumer environment, and build a relationship Balancing between merchants and consumers at the level of the Seven Emirates, and preventing any manipulation of the prices of goods and products, and educating consumers and those equipped with their rights and duties alike to ensure the protection of everyone’s rights.

He said that the purpose of inspecting the sales outlets is to ensure the extent of its commitment to the application of the new pricing policy for the nine basic consumer goods, and not to be unjustified in an unjustified manner, and to show the prices of products clearly and read to consumers, in line with the strategic goals of the Ministry to enhance consumer rights in order to provide an appropriate environment And safe when buying goods and products.
