This came during the hosting of Al Ain University, His Excellency Yasser Al -Qarqawi, in a dialogue session that dealt with the role of “Al -Watan Fund” in supporting the creativity, innovation and talents Ghaleb Al -Rifai, President of the University, along with members of the academic and administrative bodies and university students who interacted with the ideas and visions presented.

Al -Qarqawi said that the “Al -Watan Fund” is one of the most important societal initiatives that our dear homeland abounds, and aims to enhance the national identity through three main axes: productivity, responsibility and empowerment, and through investment in young Emirati minds, support and empowerment of the talented sons and daughters of the Emirates, and strengthening Cognitive economy, according to a clear vision and innovative programs that include entrepreneurship, modern technology and professional development.

He pointed out that the “Home Fund” reflects the spirit of giving and social responsibility in the UAE, by providing the appropriate environment for ambitious youth and enabling them to convert their ideas into projects with a sustainable influence, especially in the field of national identity and serving local communities, adding that the fund is working to hold partnerships A strategy with leading educational institutions, which contributes to empowering students and enhancing their practical skills, and provides many initiatives and motivational and training programs.

For his part, Dr. Noureddine Attara appreciated the prominent role played by the “Fund of the Nation” in enabling Emirati competencies, enhancing the knowledge -based economy, and supporting entrepreneurial projects, explaining that this session comes within the framework of the university’s commitment to provide a stimulating educational environment that combines academic knowledge And real experiences, with the aim of developing students ’capabilities and qualifying them for the labor market.

He added that the Al -Watan Fund initiative represents an inspiring model to support national talent, expressing the university’s aspiration to further cooperation to enhance students’ opportunities and develop their skills in line with the aspirations of the UAE.

During the session, the students raised their questions about how to take advantage of the initiatives of the “Al -Watan Fund” and the opportunities available to them, and a number of it also presented his own vision regarding projects and activities related to promoting national identity and the role of university students in it, expressing their pride in the role of the national identity program organized by the Fund in cooperation With state universities.
