المملكة: Preventing teachers from clarifying the test questions for students … and tightening of adherence to the controls

The Ministry of Education stressed the prevention of male and female teachers from providing any clarifications or answers to students’ inquiries related to test questions, which may suggest the answer, in order to preserve the integrity of the exam process.
The Chairman of the Committee is allowed to answer the necessary inquiries, such as clarifying unclear words in the questions, and this is done in coordination with the teacher of the competent subject.
The Ministry stressed the importance of adhering to the controls and procedures regulating the conduct of tests inside the halls.
In this context, the ministry indicated that students are not allowed to enter the test hall after half of the time allocated to the answer, and the late student is obligated for more than fifteen minutes to edit a delay report, especially if this is repeated.
The ministry also stressed that no student may hand over the answer sheet before the seven of the specified time has passed, with the exception of emergency health cases that require the approval of the school administration after verifying the student’s health status.
According to the evidence of testing systems and procedures, the Ministry of Education stressed the need to deal accurately with any errors that may appear in the questions during the exam or during the correction process, while ensuring that students are not harmed or negatively affected their results.
In the event that a mistake in formulating questions or in the correction process is discovered, this is documented in an official record, so that the scores of the question that contains the error are redistributed to the rest of the questions, or a modification of the distribution of grades if there is a decrease or an increase in the number of questions compared to the approved model. The Ministry also stressed that the school administration has the authority to take the appropriate decision in a way that achieves the student’s interest, with the need to adhere to accuracy and justice in implementing the procedures.
The Ministry also stressed the need for students to adhere to the instructions for the tools allowed to be used in the test hall, where any books, notes, or external papers are completely prohibited, except for the necessary written tools, provided that they are free from any notes or symbols in advance. She also stressed the necessity of writing answers using the blue pen, with the exception of third -grade students who are allowed to use the pencil, provided that the writing is clear and organized. The Ministry also stressed the need to number the answers according to the arrangement of questions, and leave appropriate distances between each answer and another, while avoiding the use of ovarian peg.
The Ministry stressed the necessity of students’ commitment to not providing more than one answer to the same question, and to completely stay away from any attempt to cheat or help others to it by any means, stressing that those who prove this will be exposed to regular procedures.
The Ministry also warned of any actions that may lead to a violation of the system within the test halls, such as causing chaos, violating regulations and instructions, or verbal infringement of officials and observers. She stressed the need for the student to adhere to his place and not to move inside the hall except after obtaining permission from the responsible observer or supervisor.
