Al Qasimi publications review the latest works of the ruler of Sharjah at the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair
Sharjah, on April 24 / WAM / Al -Qasimi Publications participate in the activities of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2025, which will be held from April 26 to May 5 in the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC) with the latest publications of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, which is a new historical wilderness, entitled: The Portuguese in the Sea of Oman, events in the year 1497 AD to 1757 AD and consists of 21 volumes in Arabic, corresponding to the same number of volumes in the English language, and the number of pages of one volume ranges between 400 and 600 pages, and the total documents in Al -Hailiyyah reached 1138 documents, collected from all documents centers in the world.
And the book “The Portuguese in the Sea of Oman” monitors important and vital historical events that took place in the Sea of Oman, as well as mentioning all the events and battles that took place in that period that spanned 260 years. This travel is not only limited to mentioning messages, but also includes full books and rare books for Portuguese authors published for the first time.
The house will also display many literature, including “The Portfolio Dagger”, in addition to “Mandaroun Al -Nama”, which deals with important historical events, such as the occupation of Qeshm by the British and the Persians, and the siege of Hormuz and its fall, and the occupation of the Persians to the cities of the eastern coast of Oman.
The Encyclopedia of “Sultan of Dates” will also be shown in its four parts, and the play “The Woody Rose”, which has been added to the volume of the theatrical business of His Highness, in addition to more than 90 titles in the fields of history, investigation, literature and theater.
Al -Qasimi Publications will also display the historical lexicon of the Arabic language, which is the first of its kind, and consists of 127 hurry -ranking parts, and this cultural achievement is unique to the Arab and Islamic nation and a global Arab addition to the series of achievements of Sharjah.
Al -Qasimi’s publications, through this participation, seek to provide their publications in several languages for the audience of local, Arab and international readers, to enhance cultural communication and exchange knowledge.
