المملكة: A partnership to digitize inspections and enhance transparency in regulatory work

The National Center for Inspection and Supervision, which aims to raise the efficiency of inspection and oversight work with government agencies and improve the rates of private sector compliance, signed a memorandum of understanding with a science company, in order to enhance joint cooperation in the field of supervisory work.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by His Excellency the CEO of the National Center for Inspection and Supervision, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdul Mohsen Al -Abdulkarim, and His Excellency the CEO of Alam, Mr. Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Al -Omair.

Enhancing the efficiency of regulatory work

The memorandum aims to discuss ways of cooperation in several areas, which includes digital solutions that enhance the efficiency of supervisory work and programs that rise to the quality of services in the series of control and inspection work.

The signing of this memorandum is in line with the work of the National Center for Inspection and Control to coordinate the efforts of inspection and control work and discuss the unification of what is possible from it in a way that raises the efficiency of the supervisory work.
It also improves the compliance of individuals and commercial establishments of systems, regulations and instructions, and with its desire to involve the private sector in providing the best technologies, services and innovative digital solutions that contribute to achieving the goals of the center.

Developing inspection and control mechanisms

It is worth noting that the National Center for Inspection and Supervision was established by Resolution of the Council of Ministers No. 277 and the date of 2/4/1445 AH to coordinate the efforts of inspection and control work between government agencies, and to develop plans and programs to develop inspection and control mechanisms and procedures that guarantee transparency and integrity in control and inspection.

The center also aims to reduce the burden of recurrence of supervisory visits to private sector facilities, raise compliance rates, contribute to improving the business environment in the Kingdom, and enhancing the efficiency of inspection and control work in general.
