Abu Dhabi, February 17 / WAM / Mubadala Investment Company, the sovereign investment company in Abu Dhabi, announced the conclusion of an agreement to have a minority stake in the company “Apliona”, a European company specialized in the field of integrated facilities management, based in New Isburg, near Frankfurt, Germany.

This investment comes alongside an alliance led by the Pine Capital Special Investment Team in Europe, and will support the growth of the company of “Apliona”, its development and aspirations to become the leading integrated facilities management group in Europe.
Zuhair Raqraqi, head of the Industries and Business Services Unit in Mubadala, expressed his aspiration to work closely with Apliona, to provide them with support and enhance the prospects for their growth in this new stage of the company’s march.
As an integrated facilities management company that has strong technical experience and international presence, “Apliona” provides innovative and high -quality services to regional clients and senior clients worldwide, in order to meet the increasing demand for solutions and products that take into account environmental and societal consideration and institutional governance, and reduces energy consumption and dioxide emissions Carbon in buildings.
During the next stage, Apliona will expand its European platform and enhance the areas of digital transformation of its services, by investing in data -based control and artificial intelligence systems of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and maintenance of construction technology.

In support of this strategy, the company acquired 14 strategic companies in Europe and its integration successfully, including the transformational acquisition process on the “Giguerpower Group” in 2023, and the deal is also subject to the conditions of the usual closure, including the necessary organizational approvals.
