The UAE records the highest levels of confidence in the world

The UAE has again maintained its advanced position on the list of the most trusted countries around the world, according to the Edelman Index for the year 2025, in contrast to the global trend of confidence, which witnessed a significant decline in the levels of trust in most countries of the world.

In its 25th edition, which surveyed the opinions of 33 thousand participants in 28 countries around the world, the Edelman Index of Trust for the year 2025 showed that the UAE has maintained its leadership as a beacon for stability that has high levels of trust in the government and companies sectors, while many countries suffer from a continuous decline in Confidence levels, as a result of the spread of misleading information, and the high cost of living caused by inflation.


The most trusted

Since the UAE for the first time in the Edelman Refidential Report polls in 2010, it has maintained its classification among the most trusted countries in the world; Where participants in the survey believe that the leadership of the state and its institutions are worthy of confidence, given its distinguished efficiency and high principles.

The latest polls of the “Edelman Index of Trust” in the UAE showed that confidence in the UAE government recorded the highest levels, with a percentage among the participants in the survey. The report emphasized that the UAE government is the most trustworthy institution in the country, while the average confidence in governments worldwide reached 52%.

The report showed great confidence in companies in the UAE, noting that companies are the only institutional party that has confidence worldwide by 62%, in what 76% of the respondents in the UAE’s poll confirmed their confidence in the ability of companies to do what is true.

According to the results of the report, the teachers (85%), and the citizen (79%) has a great confidence in the UAE, indicating the impact of confidence in the Department of Personal Relations and local societies.

60% of the survey participants from the UAE, one of the most trusted countries, according to the report, believes that the next generation will be in a better position, while this percentage in the world reached 36%.


Global organizations

Despite the concerns about globalization and potential economic stagnation, participants in the survey from the UAE emphasized their confidence in international organizations, where the report stated that the UAE is one of only 10 countries that showed confidence in the United Nations according to the opinions of (67%) of the poll participants, Only eight countries trust the European Union, according to the opinions of (66%) of the poll participants.


Economic sectors

According to the results of the index that “Emirates Today” obtained a copy of, all economic sectors in the Emirates have had a confidence in the survey, namely: airlines, education and technology sector by 86% for each of them, followed by the travel and hospitality sector by 84%, then car sectors, Energy, foodstuffs by 83% for each of them, in what received the “entertainment” and “health care” sectors by 82% for each of them, manufacturing by 81%, and communications by 80%.

Al -Crimea added: “Once again, the annual (EDLELE) reports confirm the levels of high confidence in the UAE, and its distinguished success in building general confidence and optimism and maintaining them. This year, 82% of the survey participants from the UAE confirmed their confidence in the government, while the percentage of confidence in governments at the global level reached only 52%.

He continued: «The UAE has shown that confidence flourishes when institutions operate with integrity and efficiency. And when confidence flourishes, optimism overcomes doubts, which paves the way for a brighter future, which is the future that we all look forward to. ”

It is noteworthy that the “Edelman Index of Construction” for the year 2025 is the 25th annual poll to measure the levels of trust and credibility. This research poll was implemented by the Edelman Institute of Construction and consists of interviews that were conducted online for 30 minutes during the period from October 25 to November 16, 2024. The online survey of 2025 included more than 33 thousand participants from 28 countries.
